Accidentally Stealing a Chair & Elite Student & The Store

December 11, 2016:

I had a bunch of dreams today, but I don't remember all of four (I think?) of them. The first and perhaps clearest was one where I was in a McDonalds. In this particular one, it ran in a system more akin to a hotel buffet in that tables and chairs were set all around, some with folding chairs. Anyway, the earliest I remember in this dream was when an apparently kind lunch-lady-like lady decided to give out her famous popcorn and popcorn flavoured ice cream (I know, weird sounding... and probably a real thing). Even though I didn't really want any, I was sort of forced to get some.

Because of the way it was being given out, (popcorn, popcorn ice cream topped with popcorn and popcorn ice cream), I was a bit hopeful that I would end up with the popcorn ice cream. I ended up with the popcorn ice cream topped with popcorn, so I was pretty satisfied with the results. At this time, my little sister and father were in front of me, and because they decided to go outside for a quick exercise while eating the treat, I decided I'd join them and burn off some calories too... even if  were gaining some more at the same time. They ended up going around the strip mall/cluster of buildings that the McDonalds apparently was a part of, and I thought to myself that, once i get a bit more fit, I would've liked to be able to run around this area, even though I knew it was far from home, having currently been somewhere in New York.

Coming around, I came back into the building and found it nearly empty with just my family and group of three others there. I can't remember what started up the conversation, but they may have been mentioning something about the strange set up for a large franchise. Either way, I ended up joining the conversation by mentioning that the folding chairs were more likely to be stolen, as you could fold them up and take them relatively easily. As if to demonstrate, I took one of them for some otherwise inadequately explored reason, and then tried to put it back where I found it. Trouble is, I couldn't find any empty spaces on any of the perceivable tables, so I was a bit confused to say the least.

By this point, it was just the three other guests, me and the employees - I assume my family went out and was waiting for me in the car. I remembered that I may have saw dining area outside of the building, so I thought I might go out there and set the chair there, but as soon as I walked out the doors, the alarms went off. Not wanting to cause any trouble, I went back in and tried to explain that I was just trying to set the chair down at a table, but the employees insisted that I'd instead stay there to pay it off, or something like that - I was thinking they'd force me to pay it off by temporarily working there, which probably wouldn't have worked out very well, considering I didn't live anywhere near New York. Nevertheless, I was told to go upstairs in a place that was otherwise employees only, though I had to go through this scanning security room.

In this room, there was a hanging monitor that would have swept me over with visibly red lasers that'd spread out further away from the original source. It erred at first and I decided to take off my face mask and hat that I apparently was now wearing naturally thinking that it was obscuring my face from being properly scanned. It took a bit of stumbling to do this, but when I did, it worked. The manager came into the room and I more or less mentioned that it helped with my taking my face obscuring stuff off. He insisted it was something unrelated and it just needed to be fixed. I was close to continuing on complaining about it, but I decided to instead just give him the stuff I took off and told him to put it somewhere so I wouldn't have to carry it or leave it in the corner of a security room.
Anyway, I went upstairs as I was told and found a storage room which looked a lot more like a small grocery store than pretty much anything. I saw an Asian woman who I was led to believe was the manager's boss. I took off my masks again (because what's consistency in a dream?) and this seemed to surprised the older woman who seemed to think I was handsome. The more I think about this part, the more strange I think it is.... but lets just move on. I was up there, not really knowing what to do, just watching the employees bustle around after closing time. I saw one of them had extremely pale skin, seemingly like a ghost. One person made fun of her, and she quite literally just vanished, further confirming that she was, in fact, a ghost employee. I felt a bit sorry for her, feeling that she should be more respected.

I went out of the room to some stone stairs that lead back to the ground, and peaking around the corner was the ghost girl who was on some sort of platform that maybe the dumpster was at some point. She tried to scare me, but I wasn't scared at all and instead enthusiastically asked if she knew what I was supposed to do (for me, seeing ghosts and moving mannequins is a normal every day thing, even if isn't a normal thing in the worlds I dream up.) She was confused at first, but then mysteriously said that I was to 'avoid the car' as all endings of it were bad, and that if I were to instead pick the 'sniper ending', it would be the true and good ending. At this moment, I was imagining what might happen if I for whatever reason forgot what she told me in the next dream... it was then that I realized this was a dream and it might be going a way I wasn't satisfied with.

So I decided to flex my willpower (which manifested itself as flexing my entire body in my dream and as a minor headache) and flew up, seeing wispy clouds come closer, and then eventually be passed (they were also very low clouds), and I willed for the 'actors' in my dream to catch fire. It was a bit hard to force ti to happen, but ti did. To be honest, it didn't have the effect I was wishing, but I didn't really care - I had control of where I'd go. In the distance, I noticed something that looked familiar to me from a previous dream, but I didn't really care and decided to fly the opposite direction. I went for a bit, before I found a row of old looking houses you might find in the neighboring city (two story houses, relatively not very wide, decent sized porches out in front and stairs going up onto the porch and to the front door). And landed here.

I had a loose realization that this resembled another place in a dream I had quite some time ago, but this is when the first dream ended.

The second dream started off, for me, a little more interesting. I don't remember all of the details of how it started exactly, but at least at some point, I found myself in an armory of a gun/weapon training school for specially trained young adults/teens. Either way, I was apparently exceptionally talented and was allowed to be a part of a foundation of a group that would be given real missions. It may have skipped time before I was getting out of a hummer with my teammates. Around us were a bunch of other students who admired our hard work and accomplishments, so we were treated with a bit of fanfare.

I, apparently having designated myself as the sniper, went over to a laid out tarp in what may have once been the trailer back of a truck to pick up my sniper. To my dismay, I didn't find my rifle, but I did find my katana, so I decided I'd pick it up and show it off a little. Obviously I'd have rather have been showing off my sniper rifle, but I was satisfied with being in the top of the grade - an elite and young front field operator.

The dream ended when I woke up, I went back to sleep and had the third and final dream of the night.

To be honest, this one was the least interesting of the three I had, but because I've gotten this far, I might as well tell. In this dream, I was in a mall/store that was run by a 30-40 year old woman, and in the back of her store was a large TV that was showcasing a brand new anime that apparently was about cooking food. I didn't pay much attention to it, since I actually already seen the premier in another similar place, but I just wanted to sit down. Trouble is, there were only a few chairs and I didn't want to walk in front of anyone to block their view, so I tried to squeeze behind someone, but because I was shaking their chair a lot, they rudely asked me to stop. I tried to rebuttal, but they ignored me. I ended up squeezing past anyway, and continued to pay little to no attention to what was actually being shown.

Instead, I was looking around and noticing how few people were there - the last one I had went to was apparently a pretty popular store and place to view them. Logic would induce that this place was most likely rather new or, perhaps, old. It doesn't really matter either way, because I got up to sit with my friends who were there the entire time (this includes Jacob, Austin and Brandon.) and I sat between Brandon and Jacob. I mentioned that I had a game that had a scene very similar to this (which come to think of it, was probably what my memory was referencing earlier). and I started a new game to get to this point. It was a bit far into the beginning of the game, so I wasn't sure if I really had the time to get that far, so I felt a bit flustered, but fine otherwise. Before I could get to it, Brandon and Jacob stood up and was like "Lets go".

Now it was getting late (which seemed to be a connecting theme in all but the middle dream) and the shop was closing. The owner of the place, a friendly woman, came over as I was tying my shoes next to Austin, and she started talking to us about why it closed in the night. I reasoned that there wasn't really much point in doing it, but the owner insisted that it should be to decrease the likelihood of things being stolen from there. Austin leaned in and whispered, hinting that he happened to have just stolen something from there. Being his friend. I kept this secret. Instead, he mentioned that his cousin stole something from here once, and the woman went on saying how she got her son a small bible that, when he was visiting her store, was apparently stolen. She deduced that it might have been his cousin who did it.

Austin - who may or may not have actually had a cousin who stole from there, hinted that none of his family had anything to do with it... and then finally all of the dreams ended. This happened to be the moment I just sat up, thinking it was time to get out of bed, but it had been really hard to get out of bed lately. Luckily enough, my little sister came down a few minutes after I just sat there, thinking about my dreams and thinking how much I'd rather just stay in bed, and told me it was time to eat.
