Song Lyrics from my dreams: Miracle At Night

March 28, 2026

(kind of an operatic tone with reverb, sounds dramatic and kind of holy, like God himself was saying and singing these things into existence)

Let there be light!
Let there be morning
And so, let there be night
The dark does more than hide me!
Let there be life!
Let there be warmth!
For life will feed on it
But so, let there be death!
For life without end tells no lore
Write it down, and let them hear it
Gospel told like it had never been

Axemaster Axel

An in universe third person Halo ripoff. The gameplay is only tangentially related to Halo, but a lot of the art and designs pretty much blatantly copied from it. Apparently a version of Halo exists.

Alternate History - 1970s

In the 1970s, in England there was a king named King George the Fifth who was infamously a terrible person. Murders, sex trafficking, p***philia and plenty of evidence for all of these. In the 70s, during a parade, his own daughter conspired to assassinate him.

It happened successfully - his daughter successfully shot him 3-4 times on camera, and he ended up crawling into a stream and freezing and bleeding to death.

Honey Roasted Ham

February 8, 2020:

I don't quite remember how the dream started, but as far as I remember I was in my mom's van, sitting beside the driver (her). For whatever reason I've been having a lot of dreams of me going somewhere with my mom. I had plenty of interesting ones before this one where we were in Mexico for two nights or so of dreaming. Either way, we were more or less going to somewhere I knew, but was pretty far away from home, something like a small stop in the middle of the country right off of a highway. I think we all know places like that.

For one reason or another we stopped at an industrial place around a fourth or so to the place. I think I'd been here too in a previous dream, but it's probably not one of those written on this dream journal blog. My dad came in his work truck - a dark blue truck with ladders atop it - and my mom and dad switched who was driving the van. This absolutely would not be something that would happen in real life. Anyway, she drove off, and I decided to not go with her. My dad had decided he was the one who was going to do the shopping.

Back on the highway, we went so fast that it made my mom look like she was a sloth. Eventually, for reasons beyond even my dream self, the lanes going our direction was cut down, and quickly we saw cars driving the opposite way on our lane right before a sharp turn - which is what really made me regret coming with him. Anyway, dad's apparently really desperate to replace a bread that, back at home, had gone bad, so he sees this steep incline that supposedly goes down to a really fast shortcut that would take us to our destination.

Going down this steep incline is a sort of tram-like rail that even trucks could apparently go on, and somehow, with the combination of the incline and whatever technology was built into these tracks, we would go far, far faster than otherwise possible. Despite none of the cars we have being yellow, this was expressed as a car becoming a yellow streak until we reached the bottom, and into the series of tunnels beneath the road. Despite the tunnels themselves holding up, they were clearly made of sand -- not even sandstone. Their grains were about the size of a gravel.

It didn't take me long to realize it was just a trap for either idiotic or desperate people. I got out of the car, somehow (because dream), and I quickly found a way that could at least hypothetically get me out of the place with a bit of persistence. This are was sort of like three or four small ledges that were low enough for someone to crawl up, but again, that was not the issue; it's the material they were made out of. I only barely got up the first two before I saw someone running around with a flashlight. Because dream, I knew that there were these creepy creatures that were crawling and probably eating and killing whatever they caught in this trap.

I was hoping this person would get caught because he had a flashlight, but apparently two of the creatures were following him. Although one did continue to chase him, the other came up to me, standing on the ledge I was just about to crawl onto. It was a sort of burnt-black looking Wendigo like creature -- kind of like the one in Until Dawn, or the Rake creepy pasta, but slightly more cool looking -- a bit of Alien aesthetic, if I had to put a familiar word on it.

I submitted to it. Usually I'm pretty (physically) weak in dreams, and I knew I could neither fight or run from it in my current position. I can't remember if I woke up and went back to sleep, but suddenly we were in a similar construct, albeit with less tunnels, and just tons of tracks for cars (mostly trucks, for some reason) going around seemingly infinitely.

This place, although the other acted as a prison and trap, acted solely as a prison. There were a bunch of tracks covered with the same large grained sand-like substance that went into the air this time, creating a somewhat messy, but to be honest, interesting looking construct. It sort of resembled something you'd see from a "if the world was like Sonic", or basically any number of racing games.

I climbed up it, and saw that there was even more people who apparently survived in some manner, and they were just more or less walking on the loop, clearly just glad to be out of the immediate reach of the creatures. This area was surrounded by barbed wire, fence wire and even bamboo **"stilts"** that held up the structure. Despite how they appeared, they were apparently quite formidable. On one side of the prison construct was a classic sight; water, and more barbed fence. On the other, it was green rolling hills dotted with graves. On the ladder side, every once in awhile a black child would run up in tribal clothing and try to shake the bamboo **"stilts"**. For whatever reason, I had the impression these people were tribal New Guineans.

Also on this side, there was a way to get onto another platform which would allow more opportunity for escape. It was basically just the top of the wall, but there was a second layer that was made of mostly fabric and strings. There were platforms made of said fabric, and something that could act as a ladder to the top. Me and some stranger started to climb this. It was something like a thing you'd see in one of those inside playground jungle gyms. Actually, it was pretty much exactly like that at this point of the escape.

It only took doing this three time before we gained access to climbing onto the very top. It was around this time that a voice spoke to us, explaining that our captors were in fact aliens, and that it had been a very long time between the time we were captured and woke up where we were. It was clearly implied to be decades, if not centuries, despite the lack of apparent advancement in our immediate vicinity.

We were at the top, and for a bit didn't really do anything. The exact cemetery actually looked similar to something I had seen in previous dreams, but different enough that I felt like it might have been a different location altogether. Vehicles started to drive by, and I felt the need to get on my stomach and hide on the very top. I very well might have, but eventually I noticed there was another roof that had something. I had no reason to really expect what it'd do, but before I had heard someone say something over the PA; "DO NOT HAVE MEAT". And on this second roof was a honey roasted ham sandwich.

Again, I had no idea what would happen, but somehow i knew that eating it would benefit me, so I got off the roof, and tried to climb my way to the other, but right after I left the roof and climb over, my foot got stuck in a thin fabric net. I begun working at tearing my foot away when one of the leaders appeared. Although the previous alien I saw was comparable to a wendigo, this one looked far more like a clown. He had a shrill voice similar to Kefka from Final Fantasy VI (6). Apparently he had the impression we had a meat sandwich. The two or three people who had made their way up insisted that we hadn't. One looked in my direction, silently cheering me on. I ripped myself loose, and made my way to the tower-like roof where the sandwich lay.

Even though my plan was to get atop it, and run the other side to take a bite, the dream ended with me somehow grabbing it from like 10 or so feet away, and biting it. The dream faded as I woke up, but I know that I had defeated the aliens with honey roasted ham.

AAAAND ROLL CREDITS!

Sorry.

And before I get even more annoyed, I did have a notable dream earlier. I remember almost nothing from it, and that's why I will not be giving it a separate post. In this dream, there was a book written in either 1454 or 1544, but essentially it was the very first fantasy novel. The cover was even medieval looking, and on the back was the face of a semi-modern elf design drawn medieval-like. I saw a name of a character in the book, and other than his name started with "Nn" and there being an apostrophe followed with, I think, "ne", I honestly don't remember much else aside from the pages being darkened wtih age, and the cover otherwise being very colorful.

The elf was a blueish purple.

Unwanted Software

February 3, 2019:

I can't quite remember where any of these dreams started, per se, but I haven't written one in what feels like forever. I almost woke up earlier for the sole purpose of writing at least the first dream down because I felt it to be interesting enough to deserve a record. Anyway, lets just get to it;

There is a slight impression that I might have had a dream before it about guns - perhaps it was a dream where I watched a movie, which is more likely than the alternative - but as far as I can remember it started with something that in no way is related to this. It was most likely the night, as we weren't wearing any attire to imply it was winter. Some of the people there were wearing jackets, including someone who was rather tall and lanky who wore a thin-looking coat.

Anyway, the dream touched an aspect of imagination that my dreams wouldn't normally go near; I was more or less literally one with someone else. I'm pretty sure it was with my best friend, Austin. To be exact, I wasn't there in a literal sense, but it was more like my consciousness existed a little behind him, as if I was possessing or following him as an incomplete being. Unfortunately i can't quite remember what lead to the next moment, but somehow I was released from these binds, and came to existence.

To be honest, it reminded me of my favorite Japanese comic, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Unlike JoJo, though, I wasn't this incorporeal psychic manifestation of someone's powers. Going on, I almost forgot to mention where we were; we were in a parking lot near a small incline in about two small sets of concrete stairs. There were people sitting beneath the veranda - about three or four, and one other blonde girl sat outside of the veranda. Once I had became physically existent, I picked up small rectangular box shaped pieces of wood, and tossed it at the woman. One of them somehow missed and hit the pillar of the veranda, and the other hit the head of the target, leaving her forehead bleeding.

Obviously my waking self would never do such a thing, but in my head's narration, it explained that although I was the 'protagonist', I wasn't necessarily a 'hero' or 'villain'. To be precise, it was put in a much more simple fashion that in my opinion sounds marginally better, but at the same time, the narration didn't exactly put it in words, exactly, but instead a feeling with some words attached. In other words, an average thought process in the waking life.

Either way, no repercussions came to me. With a reason that fails to be recalled, I went to the people on the first few steps the veranda and attacked a lanky man wearing a dark and long coat. Granted, the coat might not have been long, and it might have been just been the relative proportional differences from him and I, but either way I knew who I was approaching. This young man - perhaps around my age, or late teens - was the son of someone I, apparently, had a reason to dislike. Seeing me, he had told me he would tell on me to his father, so my aggressiveness towards him wasn't entirely uncalled for.

As far as I can remember, the dream more or less ended with me finding myself as "superior" to him simply because I was a part of a power or had a power that he otherwise didn't have. The next dream I'll write about actually happened two dreams later. Of course, because of how dreams work, it could have been a mix of the two dreams, but that really isn't the point.

This dream started off with me logging onto a game I haven't played in awhile. To be exact, it was an old dream's interpretation of the game; Guild Wars. On terms of art and gameplay, it was actually pretty similar, but it very much took place in a location that may or may not have resembled many outpost/city locations. color pallet wise, you could compare it to Lion's Arch - various shades of grey from ancient buildings, and rich grass with equally rich blue waters. In this case, the water was a very "small" river. as far as I'm concerned.

Anyhow, I was logging into this game to talk to some people. I was apparently in this guild that I had been in for quite some time, and when I logged on. the guildmaster greeted me. At least one person was able to view where I was, and asked what I was doing there. At the time, in fact, I was going around accepting daily quests. I didn't really want to do anything more but the most simple quests - talk to that guy, get some experience and money type of quests.

I quipped that I was, in fact, there to level, as one would do at the max level of 30 (which for those who may be confused; the max level in the real Guild Wars 1 is 20). The next part may have technically been another dream, but for simplicity's sake, lets just assume it was a different dream that started as the other finished. Either way, if I woke up, I immediately went back to sleep anyway.
This dream pointed to a memory that may or may not have been yet another dream that I had this night, but honest to god I haven't the slightest idea. At one point, my second oldest brother, Luke, had apparently reviewed a game. The creator, a woman, had gotten upset at her opinions, so she went to various late night shows to get it reported. My brother had gotten in trouble, even though nothing he did was a personal attack on anyone. On an arguably bright side, this did give him significantly more fame.

It was some time after this event that the dream started. I had been watching YouTube videos No idea what exactly, but when a particular video ended, I accidentally clicked something which downloaded this program that had brought up a window. This window was full of details, more than what an installation screen would normally state, but I had no reason to read any of it. Trouble is, I couldn't just close the window. It'd pop back up not a second later, and if I were to hit the "next" button, I had to either check one of two weapons "Next (install)" and "Next (Review)". Contextually, I knew "review" just meant that if I hit the next button, that it'd literally just loop around until I just installed it.

Nevertheless, I refused to install the virus, and eventually hit "Next (review)". This, despite the implications, just installed it without another word. This opened a tab that showed a semi-intractable screen that sort of resembled a Windows '95 UI emulating a Windows XP desktop in the small window's confines. I turned my screen to my brother, asking if it was harmful. He said that it was old enough that on my computer - a Windows 10 computer - it would have little to no adverse effects. The dream ended with my brother talking about his frustrations concerning the manufactured drama around his review. I don't remember a whole lot, but he was certainly frustrated with the results.
